Creative Process and Art

Each piece of art could use more work, yet there’s a place at which an artist must stop. I’ve come to recognize the person viewing the art is also part of the creative experience. If I overwork the painting, most of the pleasure of the imagination would be over. Why be greedy and rob the viewer of the satisfaction of being involved?
