Earth Barn – Watercolor Painting – Bella Coola, British Columbia

In many areas of the Bella Coola Valley, the ground water is so high that all you can grow is hay. The farmers still store their hay in old cedar barns. I call this one the earth barn because it was nestled into a rise in the field.
