Theodore Roosevelt – National Park Friend – Watercolor Painting
Theodore Roosevelt was always a larger than life character. I don’t remember why I chose to paint him back in college. However, today I appreciate that he was the first president to recognize how important the wide places of America might be for future generations. As someone who loves the outdoors, I appreciate his efforts to ensure places like Yellowstone, the ancient cliff dwellings of New Mexico and the Grand Canyon remained the treasure of us all.
This watercolor painting is a 20 x 14 Giclee on Watercolor Paper.
